"Run For Girls! 2026" will be held on 11 April 2026 (Saturday) at Hong Kong Science Park Charles K. Kao Auditorium (Golden Egg).

You are welcome to "Run for Girls" or be the "Men for Change".

Participants cannot register for both the 10 km and 3 km races at the same time. However, if you are signed up for either the 10 km or 3 km race, you are welcome to also join the 1 km Family Fun Run.

Apart from Family 1km Fun Run, all other races will be entitled to have different awards, for more information, please refer to the Event page.

Yes. Each Run is subject to both age and participant number limitations, please refer to the Event page.

Runners must clearly understand the content and nature of the event, where it requires physical exertion. We highly recommend runners to determine and be aware of their own health conditions in whether they are suitable to participate.

All children are equally important and shall enjoy the same rights and opportunities. However, surveys and actual conditions show that girls in developing countries are the most vulnerable group who suffers. In developing countries, many girls face discrimination due to their gender, placing them among the most oppressed in society. They are denied access to health services and education, and must confront poverty, violence, exploitation, and violation of their rights. We hope to raise public awareness of girls' rights through this event. The funds raised will support child protection and education programs at the Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, saving more Rohingya girls!

HK$380 per adult (a discounted registration fee of HK$340 / runner is offered designated races through a running club / fitness centre / fans club with 10 runners or above) ; HK$380 per adult and HK$280 per child for Family Fun Run; Corporate Run will be subjected to the number of participants. Every 10 participants will be offered in a package price of HK4,200.

We accept online payments only. Participants can use MasterCard / Visa / American Express / Apple Pay / Google Pay to pay for the registration fee. For the payment of corporate run, please contact Plan Hong Kong .

Applicants who successfully paid and registered via our official website will automatically receive a confirmation email. If you haven't yet received the confirmation, please check your spam email box. If you have any inquiries, please email to event@plan.org.hk.

Since all profits will be donated for charitable purposes, we are not able to refund any registration fees.

No. Registration fees are for participation in the charity run and include runner's packs and goodie bags. They are not eligible for tax-deductible receipts. Only donations of HK$100 or above, made in addition to the registration fee, qualify for electronic tax-deductible receipts.

Unfortunately, once registration is confirmed, we do not allow any registration refund and quota refers.

Participants cannot change the race category and the names enrolled. If you wish to edit other contact information after registration is confirmed, please email to event@plan.org.hk for enquiry. The organiser may charge an administration fee for the change.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the runners and donors who supported Run For Girls. Since the donations from this event will be used to support Plan International's Refugee Camp project in Rohingya in Bangladesh, your donation is extremely important to these girls. In view of this, if the event is cancelled due to weather or other circumstances beyond the control of the organiser or in the case of a Force Majeure resulting in the Event being cancelled, no refunds will be arranged. In order to thank everyone for their support, participants will still be able to receive the runner's pack and goodie bag from sponsors.

Since the event involves arrangements for venue and road permits, volunteer manpowers and other expenses, if the event has to be cancelled for any reasons, we might not be able to re-organised the event within a short period. However, "early bird registration" will be prioritised for those affected in our next "Run For Girls" event. The organiser reserved the right to the final decision.

Yes. Each group consists of four members, flexible gender pairing.

Ranking is based on the last runner timing.

It is recommended to gather a sufficient number of participants for registration; otherwise, the registration fee will be charged in official price.

In response to environmental protection, Runner's pack redemption announcement will be sent to successful registered runners by the end of March via email. Registered runners can log into their individual Cosmart membership account, the official registration platform, to view their registration details and QR code for picking up the runner's pack. If participants did not receive the runner's pack redemption email by 27 March 2026, please contact us at event@plan.org.hk.

Participants are required to show the shared QR code on the runner's pack redemption email and the Hong Kong Identity card / passport that you used to register, in order to redeem your runner's pack.

Children runner's pack will be picked up by Family Fun Run's Team Leader; all other adult participants have to pick the runner's pack on their own.

Yes. However, you must provide the following documents for your representative to pick up at the designated period and location.

• A copy of the runner's pack redemption email and QR code
• Authorisation letter
• A copy of runner's HKID / Passport

Please note we will not be distributing any runner's pack, including runner's bib with timing chip, luggage storage tags and event T-Shirt at the event day on-site.

No, we will not mail any runner's pack to participants to avoid loss of package due to the mailing failure.

No. Once participants choose their T-Shirt size during registration, no exchange on sizes will be allowed.

No. Any participants who do not have an official runner's bib will not be allowed to join.

No. Children under 18 should participate with their parents. Participation in the Relay Run requires the entire team.

Runners should wear proper sportswear and sports shoes. Please be reminded to pin and attach the runner's bib (with timing chip) to your T-Shirt, so our staff will be able to identify you. We highly encourage all runners to wear our official event T-Shirt that we distributed in the runner's pack in boosting the event vibes.

Yes, limited temporary luggage storage will be provided. Bring along and attach the luggage tag to your own bag at the event day, you can find the luggage tag from your runner's pack. Please note runner's shall keep their valuables to themselves, organiser will not be responsible to any loss or damage of personal property.

You are not required to report your arrival. Please be patient and attentive to the instructions by our staff, and arrive at the starting point of the track 10 minutes before your run starts.

Runners should leave the track as soon as possible after arriving at the finish line and will be directed to the gift redemption stations to pick up their goodie bag. Runners can also visit the booths set up in the venue and take photos with the decorations.

e-Certificates are ready for download after a week of the event. The link will be released on organiser's social media platform.

If the Hong Kong Observatory issued Tropical Cyclone Signal No. 3 or above, Red or Black Rainstorm Warning Signal at or after 3:00 am on the race day, the race shall be cancelled. In the event of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances not otherwise specified, the organiser reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event. Official announcements will be disseminated via Plan International's social media platforms and the event website. Participants are advised to contact the Hong Kong Observatory (Tel: 1878200) or visit the Hong Kong Observatory website on the morning of the event to confirm the prevailing weather conditions.

No. Runners are not allowed to bring any pets or any form of auxiliary tools, such as wheelchairs, bicycles, skates, trolleys, pulleys built into or attached to shoes, etc., into the track area.

Yes, however they are only allowed to watch and cheer for the runners in a designated area near the finish line.

Participants are encouraged to make donations in addition to the registration fees. This year, we have introduced a top crowdfunding prize: the top three fundraisers will receive a special gift.

It is not compulsory for participants to engage in crowdfunding. However, all funds raised will help Plan International Hong Kong make significant progress in its child protection and education programs at the Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh, saving more Rohingya girls.
